London 2012 site goes live
Binary Studios successfully launches the new Lloyds TSB London 2012 site.

We were asked to design and build the new micro site for Lloyds TSB for their London 2012 sponsorship campaign. The site focuses around one of their primary campaigns - Local Heroes. Lloyds TSB are supporting athletes from around the UK in their journey to the 2012 Olympic games.
Using the Group's brand guidelines, we designed the site to match their existing .com presence. The micro site also features an interactive map of the UK, pin pointing the location of all the Local Heroes that are currently being helped by the Group. The map features a zoom facility, similar to Google maps, that allows the user to zoom in to a specific region to see all the local athletes. This feature provides a quick way to find a local athlete and then read their profile.
The site was launched with an agressive online campaign and in the initial months the site received a good number of hits. As 2012 approaches, Lloyds TSB will be building around the intial site taking its customers along the journey to 2012, so watch this space!
