Binary Studios to develop new Lloyds TSB pension site

We have been asked by Lloyds TSB, part of the Lloyds Banking Group, to design and develop their new pensions web site.

Over the coming months we will work with the Lloyds TSB team to integrate their ideas and developments into a new development which will sit as part of their current LloydsTSB.com site.

New Lloyds TSB London 2012 site goes live!

Today sees the launch of the new and refreshed Lloyds TSB London 2012 site.

Working in conjunction with Think, Adam & Eve and Candy Labs, Binary Studios built and developed the new internet site for Lloyds TSB showcasing their partnership with London 2012.

The site has a completely new look, with an �interactive village scene built in Flash to provide a more engaging experience for the site users. The site has also been updated to reflect the new look of the Lloyds TSB internet site.

We're moving offices!

Well it's time to move. We're not going far, about 7 miles from our current location into Bradford on Avon.

Why are we doing this? Simply, space. We have grown and are continuing to grow, as such our current location just won't support what we are doing anymore. The new offices will provide us with a nicer working environment and for most staff, the journey to work will be a little shorter.

We will update you when we have moved and our new address will of course appear on the site.

London 2012 site goes live

We were asked to design and build�the new micro site for Lloyds TSB for their London 2012 sponsorship campaign. The site focuses around one of their primary campaigns - Local Heroes. Lloyds TSB are supporting athletes from around the UK in their journey to the 2012 Olympic games.

Using the Group's brand guidelines, we designed the site to match their existing .com presence. The micro site also features an interactive map of the UK, pin pointing the location of all the Local Heroes that are currently being helped by the Group. The map features a zoom facility, similar to Google maps, that allows the user to zoom in to a specific region to see all the local athletes. This feature provides a quick way to find a local athlete and then read their profile.

The site was launched with an agressive online campaign and in the initial months the site received a good number of hits. As 2012 approaches, Lloyds TSB will be building around the intial site taking its customers along the journey to 2012, so watch this space!

Lloyds TSB Save My Numbers

We were asked to develop a Flash presentation of�Save My NumbersT, a new service from Lloyds TSB. The purpose was to explain in the simplest way possible how the service works and its benefits.

Save My NumbersT uses 'wireless' technology to transfer information between a mobile phone and the Internet (without the need of any connection to a computer). This means you'll be able to update and retrieve your Save My NumbersT information wherever your mobile has a signal.

Any information that you want to back-up will need to be saved on your mobile phone's memory and not the SIM card.
Save My NumbersT is included as part of your Added Value Account package. The only additional cost you may incur is your airtime-provider's charge for transferring data between your phone and the Save My NumbersT website.

Binary Studios launches NSSW site for 2010

This year we have been asked by Lloyds Banking Group to relaunch the National School Sport Week site, ready for the week long event in 2010.

The first stage of the site is gather registrations from schools across England, Wales and Scotland. The second part of the site will be to allow schools that have registered access to resources that they can download and use at their school to promote School Sport Week.

In early January 2010 we will be launching the Scottish version of the site.

Features of the site:

Simple registration process for schools
Welsh language registration
Multifunctional reporting system securely accessed by Lloyds Banking Group staff and members of the Youth Sport Trust.
Administrators can access the reporting system and find out how many schools have registered, the number of resources ordered and statistics to the level of registrations around the UK

About National School Sport Week

Lloyds TSB National School Sport Week 2009 helped motivate pupils, and schools to fulfil their objectives for PE and school sport, using the inspiration of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and Values.

The aim was simple: To help excite and motivate pupils to do more sport by celebrating and profiling all that had been achieved in PE in schools, and to launch new sport based initiatives.

92% of schools said the week inspired more young people to do more sport, and 71% of pupils who took part tried a new sport.

To achieve this, the Youth Sport Trust and Lloyds TSB provided free resources; including teacher packs, great prizes, and visits from British Olympians and Paralympians to help schools inspire their pupils in sport and physical activity. The resources included:

The Apple iPhone - a really cool, slick device - no doubt! But for some corporate users and serious nerds out there, Windows Mobile phones offer a little more.
